Baby Girl "V" ~ Pittsburgh Newborn Photographer

April 27, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

This lil' sweetie and I had a connection even before she was born because her baby theme color is LAVENDER!  The perfect color for a tender little girl!  She was a dream to capture- slept through the entire session with just a handful of brief wake ups.  She has amazing parents who were a lot of fun to be around during the session, and also two older brothers who were so excited to have their picture taken with their new little sis!

How cute are her brothers?!  So happy to have a little sister in their lives!

So I had to include an image of Mack, the cat, because he was almost as involved in the session as the new baby girl!  Mack attempted to make cameos in the pictures and liked to sit on the angel wing prop because it is made of fluffy feathers.  I quickly caught the below image of Mack before he decided to get up and look for the feathers!

What I absolutely love about Zachary, besides his deep dark eyes and tickle-your-heart giggle, is that this little guy loves being in the buff.  No diaper?  No problem.  Whether he is dressed up in his finest, or only donning a hat, he had no problem puttin' on the charm for the camera.  Take a look at some of these images and you'll see what I mean...

How could this smile not melt your heart?Love how dapper he looks in his suit!

I had the pleasure of photographing Emory, a precious newborn with a full head of dark hair and deep, blue eyes.  Here is a snapshot of his session!

I caught Emory as he smiled... I love this family picture!

Another priceless expression... what a sweetheart!

Love the baby bum!

I received an email recently from a bride and groom, whose wedding I photographed in October 2012.  The email absolutely made my day- not only was it great to hear from the newly married couple again, but I felt on the top of the world to know how much they loved their wedding images!

"We want to thank you for all your hard work taking a lot of WONDERFUL wedding photos for us!  We received the photos and they were AWESOME!!!  You did a great job and we couldn't be any happier with the results.  We will be sure to highly recommend you to any of our friends who need a photographer as our family thought you were great and very professional."

This is why I love my job!  A few images of this beautiful couple and their wedding day...

Hope and Vince ~ Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer

Hope and Vince were married at the Mayernik Center at Avonworth Community Park.  This site is absolutely lovely- a log building, boasting 18 foot cathedral ceilings, a large stone fireplace and set against a forest backdrop.  Hope chose lovely springtime colors for her wedding decor- light pink daisies and roses garnished the site, and rhinestones and crystals were sprinkled on the tables.  This decorative bling added a nice touch of sparkle, and if you know me, I love me some sparkle!  My type of wedding!

How absolutely gorgeous is this bride?!

A necklace that Vince gave to Hope...

Last looks before the ceremony...

What a handsome man!

Love the sparkle!  Hope has a talented sister that created all of the floral arrangements and decorated the entire site.

How cute is Hope?!  Waving to her friends and family as she and Vince exited the ceremony.

This couple is so sweet together... it melted my heart to watch them share their special day.

I was honored to be chosen to photograph Hope and Vince's wedding.  Hope and I met close to ten years ago- she hired me for my first full time job out of college!  Since then, our professional ways have parted, but I always thought fondly of her and couldn't have been happier when she called me this past winter and asked me to be their wedding photographer!  It is wonderful that our paths crossed again, and I know that we will continue to keep in touch.

Congratulations on your marriage, Hope and Vince!
